Have Smelt a bouquet of Superior Wine: New OMEGA Railmaster

omega-railmaster.jpg

The original Railmaster watch, with its robust casing that allows it to withstand magnetic fields, is pretty awesome. OMEGA has a newer version of it that doesn’t include the insane casing but still has all of the good looks attached to the watch. It’s beautiful, right?

This watch, in my perspective, has a gorgeous but loe-profile look. You may have seen many similar models before, like you’ve seen this one several years ago or just in your dream ever. The dial plate in black, with markers in white, presents a feel of both maturity and vigor. This watch can fit men at the age ranging from 29 to 99. What I myself like most is the wine-red leather strap. You may even feel like that you’ve smelt a bouquet of the best wines from Bordeaux when you are staring at the Railmaster.

The Railmaster was first released in 1957 as part of the famous Omega technical “master” triumvirate, alongside the Seamaster and the Speedmaster models. The Railmaster heralded a double-housing case and special dial design that helped it withstand extreme magnetic fields, making it useful for railroad engineers, scientists, electricians and technicians. The modern interpretation of the Railmaster unfortunately lacks the same technical features as its predecessor, but fortunately it’s still a very handsome watch.
